Rachel C. Léger loves the creative process. Born a storyteller and a musician by training, she decided to combine storytelling and music in order to create musical works that tell a story or accompany one. One of its greatest strengths is its ability to transport audiences to a different world.

Rachel was born and raised in Canada. She has always found a way to explore her passion for music. She learned a new instrument every year at school, played in award-winning harmony and jazz groups, was a member of the NB Youth Orchestra (with whom she toured China and their CD won an ECMA for Best Classical Recording in 2008), participated in the Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, graduated from the University of Moncton with a major in piano, and pursued his Masters in Film Music at Columbia College Chicago.

Since her master's degree, she has worked on several short films, commercials, and public service announcements, as well as being the recipient of 2 awards in the competition for young audiovisual music composers and was in the top 5 finalists of the competition 'Music and Sound International' in the short film category.

The versatility of her skills has led her to become a lifelong explorer, whether she discovers the subtleties of various instruments, dances with abandon, or flies 3 meters high on her aerial silks.
